It is our monthly card kit reveal time. Scrapbook Blessings Club is joining up with Scrapping For Less, and we are bringing you affordable Mini CARD KITS!!!

Here is a quick peak of this months kit

Check out the projects I was able to do with this great kit!

————————————————————————-
It is perfect for all levels of scrapbookers! So whether you are a newbie or an experience scrapper, these kits has everything you’ll need to create fast and easy projects. All you need to do is get out your scissors, paper trimmer and adhesive.

Why card kits? A couple reasons, one is getting fabulous papers and embellishments from popular Scrapbooking Companies, without buy a ton that you never use and letting it all just sit in the drawer.

The second is cost. I am a frugal scrapbooker and affordability is always high on my list.  It is not always easy to spend $30- $50 on a kit.

Our kits will be $15.00 which INCLUDES shipping!

And lastly is convenience, with these kits, there is no guess work in getting papers to coordinate along with embellishments and fabrics, etc.

Who doesn’t love fun and affordable–papers, flowers, chalk inks, brads, chalkboard, stamps, buttons.. more!! Every month you get something a little different!

Tuesday – Cards @Scrapbook Blessings Club

Hi there friends in the crafting world, Carolyn here to share a couple Christmas cards I recently made…

Christmas Village Church from here.

The image was stamped on white card stock, and than die cut with a oval die.  Each scallop on the mat I applied Liquid Pearls and attached a ribbon on bottom.  Place it over a snow-flaked embossed mat and all attached to white card stock base. Sentiment from Stampin! Up Teeny Tiny Words.  Glitter glue applied to roof of the church; and I used Wink of Stella glitter pens to color in the stained glass window, plus the windows.  Door is also colored in with Wink of Stella glitter pen.

Photo download from a search on Internet that I printed out, and applied glitter/stickles to areas in photo that had glittered.  And created a easel card using my Silhouette Cameo.  I believe the photo was printed out and than cut out with my Brother’s Scan ‘n Cut machine.

Card showing slider up revealing the sentiment stamped on underside… in my case directly onto the inside of the back card as it was only a one sided colored cardstock.

Cupcake Birthday Card – Sliceform technique

Hey, Carolyn here with Tuesday – Cards at Scrapbook Blessings Club and I am sharing a card technique that I found on Extreme Cards and Papercrafting and by clicking on the link will direct you to the instructions for this cupcake card.

Front view of Cupcake Card (hopefully you can see the cupcake)
Card laid flat for mailing purposes (and to give you some indication of what it looks like)
Top view of card
MY TIP:  don’t become frustrated when putting the card together.  Take your time, and take a break if it becomes to much for you.  In putting it together, have to twist the pieces to get them to insert into the slots.
Supplies used:

To be honest, I temporarily paper-clipped the cupcake holder together as it may not be the final piece.  I downloaded a holder from the SilhouetteAmerica Online store that has Happy Birthday cut out, so this is just to show what you can do.

I printed the candles and than used my PrismaColor markers to color the flame and candle (great-grandson will be 4 in October).

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me, and please visit Scrapbook Blessings Club for more inspiration.

August Card Kit

Good morning crafters, I am here to showcase my card I created for Scrapbook Blessings Club

using the card kit for August….

Using a Kraft card stock for the base (4.25×5.50) I placed the design paper from the kit on the side.  I cut out 4 triangles and fit into a square mat which was placed on a bigger mat.  I stamped the band aide, prescription bottle and sentiment, using Black Stazon ink and than sponged Distressed Ink, Tea Dye on edges of each embellishment.  I fussy cut the label that the sentiment was stamped on.  Stamped the little hearts with Distressed Ink, Barn Red; and the label on bottle and heart colored in with Prismacolor Markers; and the colors for the band-aid was Copic markers.  The arrow embellishment from the card kit.

To the important stuff:
