Once I seen this image by Pattie, I thought of the Pilgrims and first Indians and the first Thanksgiving , I first printed out the design paper that I found after doing a Internet search (I do not have any Thanksgiving type design paper in my collection of paper!). But before I actually printed the paper, I placed two pumpkins from my Silhouette Library and also the leaves as images and printed the paper 4.25×5.50 to fit a standard card base.
I print and cut the Indian maiden and using my Stampin! Up markers colored the image. I also offset the image 2 x’s and cut out, once on poster board to give some dimension to the card. Since the card needed something for added ‘pop’ I placed a ribbon across the center, and the sentiment was print and cut on a label from my Library of collections. Two brads was added and then placed on the card. The Indian was placed on foam tape to the card.

This is a card for Thankfulness that I will be contributing to Operation Write Home – a service where donated cards are sent to our service men and women overseas for their use to send cards to loved ones.
Thank you for stopping by to visit with me, and hugs to all.
